On my way!
Well folks I leave tomorrow for Bocas Del Toro, Panama.
The car and motor boat have been put to bed, the house is ready for next season's hurricanes, and the shop has been swept clean for another project on my return. Many of you were curious about the boat. Attached is a bad picture, but it's the only one I have. In this picture it has spent the summer alone in Panama and has tarps, a dingy, and stores tied everywhere. I'll send better ones later.
The next steps are to get some things done on the boat and then head for the Panama Canal which is a two day sail from Bocas. I'll keep everyone posted when I can.

I'm not sure I believe all this stuff about the trip and Panama. All of this information can be faked theses days! I want proof you are sailing the Pacific!
Two words of advice; watchout for the smokers (waterworld) and make sure they boil the shark needles before you get a new tattoo!

Mike, by the time you read this you will have made it to the Marquesas so congratulations on your journey so far! Did you know that it is a Naval tradition to have a proper "ceremony" when someone crosses the equater for the first time? Have your shipmates e-mail if they would like any creative ideas...Hope you are well,
Keith

My aren't we fussy! Here I sit after a full day of Saturday office work, house chores (ya know... cutting the grass, fixing and repairing things) and your upset because the generator makes too much noise and a little floating stinging thing nearly got your thingy.
I guess the good news is we now have it on record that you have learned how to cook and certainly can clean!
Glad the 3,800 miles went whale.. looking forward to the next entry Captain Ahab
